Acclaimed Aberdeen comedian & promoter Wendy Ivers presents The Laughter Factor at this years Fringe; a comedy cabaret face-off with five fantastically funny comics competing for the coveted Laughter Factor Crown. 

Most comics come handpicked from the portfolio of Wendy's company Comedy Capers - the only comedians' agency and comedy events' company in the country north of Dundee, 'I'm coming to the Fringe to showcase my comedy and the comedy of the funniest acts I represent and though not all of my acts come from the silver city itself, I'm hoping to do wonders for Aberdeen's reputation as a dour humourless City.  Very few people know this, but Aberdonian's are hilarious; until now we've been keeping the fact a secret from everyone south of Stonehaven.'

Wendy will also be on the prowl around the Fringe headhunting high-calibre comedians to add to her motley crew and to go head to head with her handpicked acts.  But the competition is a farce, since Wendy believes each of the fifteen plus characters that'll be appearing with her possess '… something special, a certain comedy sparkle on top of their side splitting tales & laugh a minute gags, you know, The Laughter Factor.'
