Style:   Imagine the local observations of Scotland the What? rambling along the wild tangents of Phil Kay, and filtered through the filthy gob of Jenny Éclair and you’ve barely scratched Wendy's surface for she describes her comedy persona as representing everything she loathes and detests about herself but that everyone around her demands.

Wendy's comedy is a stream of consciousness, a continuous confession, a spontaneous story-telling rant revealing some of the most bizarre and frustratingly funny insights, ideas & experiences.  Her ludicrous confessions take audiences on a trip into her current state of mind covering topics as diverse as politics & human rights, sweat shops & shoplifting, bikini waxing & pube trimming, drug use & education and whatever else she's been pondering in the run up to the show.  Verbal diahorrea has never been so infectious.

Biog:    Wendy runs, promotes and compeer's her hugely successful comedy nights at Café Drummonds (www.cafedrummond.co.uk) in Aberdeen and began doing so with only three comedy performances and one comedy writing and performance workshop under her mini-kilt.

In 2004 she reached the semi-final of the national J20/Jongleurs Last Laugh Comedy Competition.  Though she has yet to reach the circuit Wendy’s spontaneity, brazen opportunism and willingness to perform on any stage means she can triumph in circumstances that most comedians fear and dread; she's run the gauntlet in old man's pubs during song recitals, at friend's parties, at charity and community events and from behind a wrought iron fence during a street market - she even entered a break-dancing competition complete with hooded anorak and dreadlocks just for the performance opportunity and though she made an arse of herself she succeeded in making a hell of a lot of people laugh.

More:   Wendy came third in a national popularity competition sponsored by Three mobile www.wepaypopularitystakes.co.uk which gave her national exposure in The Daily Record and The Sunday Times and helped fund the production of a triple feature comedy DVD (see page below for details) parts of which will be available to view online at www.wendyivers.co.uk soon
Northsound 2 (1035mw) fuelled Wendy's rapid rise to cult status when Jenny Laing a producer spotted her at a show and invited her to appear - she is now a monthly guest on John McRuvie's Sunday show between 10:30 and 1pm. Listen live on www.northsound2.com
Creator, occasional compeer & judge of The Laughter Factor, at Snafu (www.clubsnafu.com)

Quotes'The show was effortlessly weaved together by the zany banter and effervescence of crazy compere Wendy Jane Ivers'
(The Heckler)

'Potty mouthed Wendy Ivers soon gets the audience on her side with her jumble sale mini-kilt and a Seaton accent that could strip the salt off a seagull’s wings. The sole female contender provokes laughter and embarrassed gasps in equal measures as she rails like a Toddler with Tourette's Throwing a supermarket tantrum.'
(The Evening Express)

’A highly commended performance Wendy has a great future,’ (Jongleurs)
